I grew up in Shanghai and Jiangsu, China. In 2006, when I was 21, my father asked if I would consider immigrating to Canada if our family had the opportunity. I said yes. I came to Canada as an international student and later earned my MBA.
After 2010, Toronto’s real estate market began to boom, and many Chinese immigrants—my family included—arrived with their savings and dreams. Inspired by the realtor who helped us buy our first home, I obtained my real estate license in 2011 and joined RE/MAX. Becoming a RE/MAX agent felt like a natural step. I became a top agent the following year and, through my work, met my future wife. We married in 2013.
