I grew up in Yellowknife, NT and started working at age 12, packing groceries. I quickly learned the love of sales, working in the family business with my Mentor and Father, Frank. Our family owned everything, from a fast food restaurant, to a clothing store to a video store.

Like many young people, I couldn’t wait to leave the North and see the world. By age 22, I landed a job with Royal Caribbean International. The company rewarded my leadership abilities and I quickly joined the New Building Start Up Team. This team was responsible for the preparation of new ships being built in Turku, Finland and the subsequent delivery of the ship into the world.

While working onboard, I met my wife, Yury Perez. We continued to enjoy the high seas until we found out we were expecting our first child, Tiara. We then decided to move to dry land.
