Bill Alefantis has almost 30 years experience in the real estate industry. Bill believes that the best work comes out of the passion for what one does. He is dedicated to customer service and believes that one must listen well to effectively meet the needs of his clients.

Bill started his real estate career in 1993 and has worked as a sales manager with a custom home builder and then became a director of sale and marketing for a land development company. In the early 2000’s Bill served on the Planning Advisory Committee with the City of Calgary, in the development of an Area Structure Plan for annexed lands on the west side of Calgary.

Honesty and integrity, along with determination and dedication, are what Bill’s clients have come to expect from his services. By applying these principles into his business practice, he has helped hundreds of clients achieve their real estate goals.

His background as an entrepreneur has given his real estate business a high level of experienced leadership and professionalism. As a full time agent working with the George Byma Real Estate Team, he continues to meet the needs of his real estate clients. Bill brings his commitment to personal service, strong negotiating skills and business acumen in order to meet his clients trust, referrals and repeat business.

Since his youth Bill has been very active in fund raising activities for charitable organizations throughout North America. His long-standing membership to the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association, a worldwide philanthropic organization, and his work as a director for the Friedreich’s Ataxia Research Association have resulted in millions of dollars being raised. Locally these charities include Cooley’s Anemia, Alberta Children’s Hospital and The Women’s Shelter of Calgary, just to name a few. Bill has also volunteered his time with the Hellenic Community of Calgary, serving for six years on its executive board.

In his spare time Bill enjoys spending time with family, entertaining their friends, playing golf and traveling
