Tom initially started to assist us in finding a new home in July 2024. This was to be our downsizing effort and probably our last home residence. We were leaving behind a large place of forty years, having lived in a super area and neighborhood, that had assisted and supported us while raising four sons from infancy to adulthood. We were also now seeing them relocate within Edmonton, with their own expanding families.That alone brought with it a whole realm of personal feelings, emotions, and possible directions for where we might want to live now, for us. Tom was certainly witness to this, and carefully processed and took all this into account, in his efforts to establish a personalized plan and direction for our search. We started with vague guidelines for him, but he carefully and conscientiously spent much time listening, talking and discerning what might appeal to us. It was through these conversations and efforts we really saw the type of kind, caring and very professional person he was. He was so determined to “get it right “ for us.On a daily, consistent basis he took the salient ideas that were emerging and sent us suggestions for perusal to suit.When we came close to liking a place, he willingly engaged in more thorough discussions with us, as we waded through all pros, cons, deal breakers and straight out nos. He helped us weigh our choices, in very objective terms.In this, he never appeared rushed or hurried. He dedicated a lot of time and effort to us, and always followed up promptly on any questions or concerns we had.He responded immediately to any texts or phone calls,- days, evenings and weekends! We certainly felt like he had our best interests foremost of mind, at all times.He served us well and we would not have a single reservation in recommending him to friends, colleagues, family or indeed anyone looking for a professional realtor. We finally found our ” new home “ in late September and are now able to start enjoying this part of our adventure further with family and friends. Tom was there with us when we got the key, and he hasn’t just become a stranger since, still communicating, responding and inquiring as to our needs and satisfaction. We so appreciate that.
