Not only did she return my call right away, she spent an hour talking to me about her approach, including why she chose to leave a traditional brokerage for a discount brokerage. When we met in person and walked through my house, she was warm, genuine, and thorough in giving me feedback about selling. She explained the importance of pricing my house well, particularly in a changing market. She spent time with me, listening, answering questions, and making me feel very comfortable. The whole way through the listing/selling process, I appreciated her honesty, her openness, her directness and her expertise. Perhaps most importantly, she understood that selling is a financial transaction but also an emotional experience. I’d spent 4 years renovating my house, so it meant something to me. In the end, she sold my house quickly, over list price, and the whole experience was extremely positive. I saved nearly $7000 in commission as the seller.
