I have known Robert for many years. So personally and professionally, he is a man of his word. Robert went above and beyond for myself and my husband when we were searching for our first home. We told him the criteria, location and specifics we were looking for and he exceeded our expectations and EXTREMELY EFFICIENTLY!!! We went out on one day and looked at over 10 properties and sealed a deal the same day! Robert eased us into the process, eased our anxieties and made everything run so smooth, and his communication was impeccable! I highly recommend Robert Almeida for all your real estate needs.

Also, Robert negotiated a great price which was well below the assessed value. He also arranged for a home inspection to ensure that our most valuable purchase did not contain any costly surprises.</p> <p>Unfortunately, we ran into some unforseen circumstances when a sewer backup with the city caused some water to come into the house just before we were to complete. Robert was astute enough to realize that there was some new water damage. He ensured that the seller's insurance company was contacted and an insurance claim was started. Robert has been amazing in looking after our interests by having several meetings with the insurance adjuster and many follow-up emails. He help[ed us turn misfortune into fortune as the net result of the insurance claim for us will be a brand new hardwood floor on the main floor, a new hot water tank, some new cabinetry, and painting.</p> <p>Besides navigating the insurance claim, Robert has been able to help us with renovations to the house. He is very knowledgeable about the construction trades and has a network of reliable sub-trade contractors. Robert has helped us make our dream home, a lakefront house in Burnaby's best neighbourhood, a reality!</p> <p>Robert is an outstanding realtor. Robert did an outstanding job marketing our property for sale. He ensured that professional photos, video, and feature sheet were done in a timely manner. Robert did a thorough search of comparable properties in the area and priced our property competitively and fairly with a view to getting a quick sale. He scheduled regular open houses every Saturday and Sunday. He followed up with every interested party and guided us through the offer and subject removal process. When the buyer wanted to do an inspection, Robert was there personally to discuss any issues. He is also very knowledgeable about working with tradespeople and was able to advise us on how to repair our gate (one of the conditions for the sale). His diligence allowed us to receive an accepted offer within two months of listing our house for sale. He managed this in a market which was slowing and turning into a buyer's market. Robert also helped us to get a great deal on our next purchase and helped us with the transition from our old house to our new house. Robert did an amazing job for us and I will use him again as my agent in the future and recommend him to all my friends and family.
