<p>We bought our home with RJ in 2011 and she guided us through every step of the way. We were first time home buyers and very nervous. We set a budget and did some searches, but were struggling to find a place we liked. She found us a home just outside of our budget that she thought we could get for below list price. And not only did we get an amazing home, but we got it in our budget thanks to RJ's negotiating skills and knowledge of the local real estate market. I was initially wary of anyone who gets paid based on commission, but the fact that she was negotiating a lower price on the home against her own self-interest showed me she was truly a great agent and put her clients first. I told my wife then, that if we ever sell this place, we're using her as our agent.</p> <p>Fast forward 3 years later....</p> <p>I was in the process of getting a job in Texas, we called RJ and said "sometime in the next 6 months we're going to sell, what should we do?" She came over to our house and went through every room and gave us a to-do list to get the home ready for sale. We fixed all the minor problems like scratches on the floor, dirty grout on tiles, and painted over some scuffs on the wall where pictures were hanging. Then she came in with a stager and photographer (at no cost to us) and made our house look absolutely amazing. The pictures were so amazing we almost thought about staying. The house was listed for sale on Thursday, and by Sunday night we had multiple offers. The buyers began a bidding war! RJ kept us informed about that different kinds of loans and closing costs associated with each buyer and what the end result would be for our bank account.</p> <p>When we purchased our home, RJ saved us thousands of dollars by finding the property that would go below list price and negotiating the price down to fit our budget. When it came time to sell the home, we had multiple offers and had a bidding war, earning us thousands of dollars above what we expected.
