Richard was outstanding at helping us find our dream home in Halifax. We came across his informative Market Update videos on YouTube when researching Nova Scotia before moving here from out of province, and reached out to work with him. Not knowing the area at all, we leaned on his knowledge and expertise which he was more than happy to share. We had a few virtual walkthroughs before moving here which were incredibly thorough. Richard wasn’t shy to point out the things that stood out to him, both pros and cons, and show you every detail of the house. Once we were able to work with Richard in person, he was beyond patient and informative as we navigated a new city, a strong market, and putting in competitive offers on homes receiving multiple offers. He never pressured us into making an offer, always making sure our needs and wants were taken into account. You’ll also be connected with a great network that go above and beyond, from mortgage brokers to home inspectors to lawyers, which helped make this process as smooth as possible. We recently purchased a home in Halifax during the very challenging current market of very little stock and competitive offers. Richard was excellent to work with, he listened to what we wanted, was very helpful in narrowing the search to the right areas (we are not from Halifax) and moved quickly when we found the right house. After having our home on the market for almost 2 years with another agent with no results, we were a little Leary of getting someone else in and being disappointed as well. However, Richard got the job done! He was good with viewings and although our home was unique wiithin the market, Richard tried his best to only show it to those to whom he felt would be potential buyers.richard listened to our specific needs and wants and over- all adhered to those. I personally loved Richard’s upbeat and refreshing whit. As a couple divorcing, he made the situation less stressful and helped deal with the sticky points. Richard cares and that is genuine.
