PHILIP WAS EXCELLENT throughout the entire home buying process!!! We were initially anxious to be going through the home buying process during the pandemic in which there was a surprisingly high volume of buyers and not enough sellers and as a result the competition was very high for buyers with multiple offers on most houses being the norm. Philip's professionalism showed in every aspect of the transaction. He was respectful of what we were looking for, always responsive and available to answer the many many many questions that we had in a way that made us feel valued and appreciated. Philip is very highly experienced with many years of practical knowledge both for those looking to sell and buy a home. He immediately made us feel at ease with his grasp of what was happening in the real estate market. He clearly explained to us the current housing events, trends and tactics we needed to be aware of that were used by home sellers and the selling agents to drive up the prices for houses, we learned a lot from him! and just that information he shared with us gave us a great advantage over other buyers with less experienced agents. Philip communicated very effectively and stayed in constant contact through the methods we specified I.e. by phone, text email and Zoom:) In addition he always listened to all our needs, and offered the appropriate feedback. He kept us informed of every step in the process as to what to expect in order for us to plan and strategize effectively. Philip walked us through the entire process and took time to explain each and every item that we had clarification questions about (I am in the legal profession and as a result would read all the Terms and Conditions so yes, I wanted to make sure everything was explained thoroughly). This streamlined the entire process for us as we became fully aware of what to expect and together we developed a strategy of how to proceed based on different scenarios. He prepared us fully for potential outcomes with realistic objectives and realistic offer and counter-offer when needed. This was extremely helpful because once the offer or offers are made, things move very fast and pre-planning was key to getting what would work best for us. When we went to view the properties he always showed up before our scheduled appointment time which we really appreciated and it was clearly evident that he knows real estate!!! His Years of experience helped us make informed decisions. He was extremely knowledgable regarding key advantages to the property as well as the value of the property. He was instrumental in expertly navigating the negotiation of the price that we had discussed and worked best for us even though the market was "hot." One thing we can say about Philip and his team including Chantal is that they value building great relationships and are committed to going above and beyond for their clients! Even after we closed on the house they still call to see how we are doing in our new home and neighbourhood and sent us a beautiful personalized classy "welcome home" gift. We love our new home and neighbourhood and are extremely thankful to Philip for making it happen! my wife, two kids and I highly recommend Philip Hollett to everyone that is either selling or buying a home :)
