They were attentive to our likes and dislikes in our search and helped us hone in on looking at places that were real contenders. Most importantly, they were extremely patient and let us take the lead in any decision making. <p>Jean was referred to me by a mutual friend and I am very grateful for the connection. Jean and Pat were extremely helpful and made the whole process go very smoothly. Given that I live in Toronto and was trying to buy a house in Ladysmith, they set everything up for me when I flew out, including building inspection and arranging a meeting with a property manager who will be taking care of the rental of the house until I'm ready to move back to the Island. Once back in Toronto, Jean communicated with me frequently until the deal was closed, carried out the closing inspection herself and arranged for storage for a few pieces of furniture I had purchased from the vendor. I couldn't have asked for more - thank you Jean and Pat for excellent service!</p>

<p>We made an offer on another property through the listing agent for that property. When he asked if we would prefer to have an agent represent us as buyers we said yes and he introduced us to Jean Medland. We were not successful in acquiring that property but Jean continued to work with us very closely for several weeks while we continued to look for a residence to buy in Victoria. The search was complicated by the fact that we were not in Victoria and the market was extremely active - this resulted in us traveling to Victoria numerous times during several weeks, often to discover that a property (or properties) that we had come to look at was (were) already sold. This did not adversely affect the energy Jean continued to invest in helping us.</p> <p>During this time, her knowledge of who to contact to get answers to any questions we had about a property was extensive and her willingness to contact those agencies or people on our behalf to get the information we wanted was outstanding. In fact, in more than one instance she thought of questions we should have answered that we ha not thought of ourselves - and got that information for us.</p> <p>Subsequent to our purchase she has continued to be extremely helpful in getting us settled into Victoria (where we have not lived before) by providing contact information for a wide variety of trades people we want to know about for future work on the house and generally making us feel welcomed to the city.</p> <p>She is a true "professional" and we would use her again in a heart beat and recommend her to anyone looking for an agent in the Victoria area.</p>

<p>Jean and Pat did a wonderful job through out our long house hunting. Their knowledge evaluating the home features and writing the offers were crucial for such high demand market in Victoria.</p>

<p>Pat is a great realtor!</p> <p>He helped us make the right decision around our home and neighbourhood and was very knowledgable about the quality of the build based on the year of our home, etc.</p> <p>He really did his research to make us feel very comfortable with our decision and made what could be a stressful transaction painless.</p>
