Five years ago we were planning on retiring to Comox from Salmon Arm. We saw some houses online and contacted Meta. She set up a meeting with us in Courtney and made us feel at ease right away. We couldn't find anything that worked for us at the time, but after returning home, we did see a property we liked in Chemainus. We contacted Meta to see if she could recommend a realtor in Chemainus. Instead, she offered to drive through to Chemainus, to show us the property. That's fantastic service. We ended up buying the property after she helped us negotiate a purchase price. She's so professional, kind and helpful. It was a great experience and we appreciate all her hard work.

Meta has been a great help when we purchased our first home. She pointed out the house to us right as it came on the market, and it was the perfect fit. Her honest guidance and calm nature in getting all the steps done have made us realize the purchase without any hick ups. We will be happy to work with her again for our next purchase.

The review below was written 3yrs ago when we bought our home during the pandemic. We're now looking at moving...again....This will be the third time we've used the services of a realtor. All three times we've had Meta on our team. A winning formula! Meta has been working with us for over a year as we searched for our final home. The Pandemic coupled with what can only be described as a “feverishly competitive” Seller’s Market made this search challenging, frustrating and stressful (to say the least)! Competing with buyers who have much deeper pockets can create some disheartening moments. After viewing what seemed like every house in the Comox Valley we finally found a home that checked all the boxes. When it came time to sell our existing home Meta’s advice and guidance in staging our house paid off: we sold within twenty-four hours!! Meta was always available to answer any questions and/or concerns we had. Her steadfast calm, patience and cheery disposition was always appreciated during those times when we thought we’d never be successful. Meta ‘s knowledge of Real Estate procedures ensured all the “I”s were dotted and the “t”s were crossed making the purchase, sale, and legal processes trouble free. We highly recommend Meta Wood to anyone who is considering selling or buying Real Estate! She is a credit to her profession.

Meta has patiently showed us many homes, to finally arrive at having a home built. She never pressured us through this journey that has been well over a year. Thanks and many kudos to her.
