We have used Laura for two different home purchases in the last couple of years. We chose her name at random with no concept of what a wonderful realtor we were getting. My husband and I have purchased seven homes over our many years so we have had a lot of experience with realtors. Only with Laura have we experienced such wonderful, thoughtful and professional service. It turns out, your realtor is very important and when they are working for you instead of just for themselves, it is like night and day in your experience and your financial outcome when purchasing a house. I could go on and on about how well taken care of we were by her in our two recent purchases. So many of the other reviews I read about her today already attest to her professionalism and superior approach. You can believe them. I want to reach out to anyone who is not sure they want to commit just yet, in their house hunt, or to this realtor by mentioning some things about her that will help move others forward with confidence in the first step of calling Laura. When we began a house hunt last year it was when the markets were crazy and house prices were being bid up and up by the hour. We were not sure we wanted to get into that fray, but we were concerned we would be priced out of the market. On first contact with Laura, she cautioned us not to overbid or become emotionally tied to any house, but at the same time worked really diligently to try to determine what it would take to secure a winning bid. She was really persistent in getting a feel for the opposing realtor, the seller, and what it would take to get the house we wanted. Despite her emotional caution, we were quite in love with the house that we found. It was a furious bidding war at the time. I suggested a certain amount that we could afford at our upper financial end. Laura advised me not to go that high. She actually convinced me to offer less. This was the first evidence I had that she truly was working for me and that we came first. Any other realtors I have dealt with would have accepted what I was willing to offer, since that would increase their own commission. Instead of looking at this as additional commission for herself, she went forward with a plan of strategy, timing, and offer amount that secured us this home at the lowest cost the owner was willing to accept. After the sale, we found out just how close this horserace was. Several other bidders were disappointed that day because Laura was not their realtor. The other thing about starting a search for real estate is that first call you make and wondering if you are going to be bombarded with listings or pressure. I know I put the phone down a few times before I actually made the call. You will not have to worry about that with Laura. As well as being very knowledgeable, diligent and a good judge of character, she is respectful and will let you go at your own pace. She is always willing to answer questions and will get back to you very quickly with any email, text or phone call. Now for the last part of my endorsement. I think it's important for the review reader to know that I have only written one other review in my life. it is not something I do lightly, so if you are looking for a realtor, call Laura. Shelly

We were so fortunate to have found Laura as our Realtor, she helped us find the right house in the right neighborhood and for the right price. She was very patient as it took us almost 1.5 yrs to find our desired home. She cautioned us about making unreasonable offers when we fell too quickly for overpriced homes. In short, she was always on our side working to make our house purchase as simple and successful as possible. The best part about working with Laura was that she was always more focused on answering our questions, giving us good advice, and finding homes that met our needs than she was on closing a deal.
