My husband and I put our townhouse on the market back in Sept. of 2016. It was our first time selling and we had no clue on what to do. We had two realtors over the course of seven months who were unsuccessful in selling our property due in part to a downturn in the economy and a lot of competition in our neighbourhood. After our second realtor's contract expired we were concerned that having our house listed on the market for so long would make it more difficult to sell, so it became stressful for us and forced us to take a hard look at what we might be doing wrong. We did some research for a realtor who was familiar with our neighbourhood and instead of just going with a well known brand name, we wanted someone who had sold property in our area before and with good success. After an extensive search we were fortunate to find Kellie and her own realtor company YEGPro Realty and with 15 years of experience behind her, I knew she was the one. We signed a contract and she went to work promoting our property on MLS and other social media venues and had her photographer take amazing pictures of our townhouse making it look almost brand-new. We met for coffee again and Kellie showed us her plan on how she would promote our property and we were confident that she would sell as she had creative ideas of how to present it on the market to stand out in our neighbourhood, ( two more units were up for sale at the same time). Kellie was great, so positive and kept us in the loop regularly with updates and viewer feedback. We had built a new house and were paying two mortgages and were obviously stressed but she ensured us that she will sell it, and she did in record time. After just 25 days we had an offer and were so excited and amazed at how quickly Kellie had sold it at the price we were happy with. My husband and I are so grateful for all of Kellie's hard work and her fresh and creative ideas in promoting our property. Kellie was a great agent. She negotiated well and was easy to communicate with. I didn't rate her a 5 in property knowledge, because it was an older home. However she had access to a great property inspector. In fact, I'm not sure any agent would've known the answers to the questions I had, but she was useful where I needed the most help -negotiating a great deal.

Purchasing a home is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, purchases you will make. I’m very happy I made this purchase with someone as knowledgeable as Kellie. She is personable yet professional. I found it so easy to communicate and maneuver through the paperwork with her. I got the home I was looking for, in the neighbourhood I envisioned and at a price point that I’m happy about.
