My first contact with Mr. Jeff Bishop was in July 2021... My wife had passed away in a tragic car accident in January 2021 and I was in the process of selling our acreage and relocating to Victoria to be closer to my daughters...Mr. Jeff Bishop kept in monthly contact with me during this time not only with real estate information but with total compassion to me during a very hard and grieving time of my life...It was December 2021 that I was finally in the position to look at properties in Victoria and it was at this time I met Mr. Jeff Bishop for the first time in person after numerous phone and e mail conversations.. It is without a doubt that Jeff Bishop represented and protected our family's interests as if it were his own. These actions made it clear that Jeff is one of the very best agents in Victoria. Jeff proved his full understanding of Victoria's unique housing market by including in our offer the right clauses to ensure that our purchase came without any hidden surprises or extra costs. On this note, when our offer was accepted we were entitled to a full inspection of the home and property, including a ground scan for an underground oil tank. Sure enough, an oil tank was found (actually under the garage floor) and thus was removed, without any extra costs to us, prior our conditions being lifted. Without Jeff being adamant that these protective clauses be included it is very likely that our purchasing experience would have been quite different. It is without reservation that we recommend Jeff Bishop to anyone looking to purchase or sell a home in the greater Victoria area. Jeff was without a doubt a top notch agent to deal with throughout the search for my new home . Very professional, courteous and reliable. Always available, he knew all areas in the greater Victoria area, and sent me exactly what I requested. He did not try to sell me something out of my price range, and listened to all my needs. He was on top of all communication including emails and texts with me, with other agents and with condo management. His response to any communications was excellent. Any documents I required he obtained immediately. Being in the military for 37 years, I have moved many times and I would highly recommend Jeff to all my colleagues, family and friends. Jeff was everything you could ask for in a realtor. Always on time, always kind and very understanding of our small budget as a young couple. No pressure to get something, and even backed us out of a terrible condo before we sent the deposit upon finding out major repair issues with the building. It made finding a place in this extremely difficult environment a lot easier. And hes very quick to reply over text or email no matter when. We're definitely going back to Jeff for our next purchase whenever that may be :)
