Jamie helped me find my first home. He was on the ball the whole time. It was a 2-3 week whirlwind from meeting him and finding exactly what I was looking for. He guided me through the whole. What I appreciated the most was: - That he took time to sit down with me to answer all my questions. - He was always available, he answered my texts immediately and was always available on the phone - He connected me with fantastic mortgage broker and home inspector - He listened to my needs for a property and gave great options and booked viewings promptly - He was not pushy at all when we put a bid in for properties. He gave realistic and good suggestions and advice. - He ultimately got me much more than I expected with this property - Overall very pleasant, respectful guy. I would recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone and I will most definitely be calling him again in the future.

Jamie has always been great to work with( we’ve had Jamie and Lyndell as our real estate agents since 2001) , you never feel like you’re a dollar sign with him, and he’s got so many connections for any service a home buyer or seller may need that everything just goes really smoothy. We were always kept in the loop and had a fantastic home inspector and real estate lawyer as a result of his recommendation. I will always recommend Jamie to anyone who asks.

I would not hesitate to recommend Jamie. I was so grateful to have his support and expertise during the long and challenging process of getting my mom's condo ready to be sold. He made everything easy, always stayed in touch with me, gave great advice and anticipated all my questions. Most of all, he worked at my pace, which was really helpful for me, as I was juggling many other things at the same time. The situation was challenging: I had to try and sell a condo in a building with some problems, in a slow market, and without a lot of money to stage the condo before listing it. My expectations were low - I thought that it would take a long time to sell, and that we'd get disappointing offers. Instead, the condo had multiple offers right away after Jamie listed it, and it sold for a very satisfactory amount, only a short time later. This was the best outcome I could have hoped for. However, a lot of work went into this sale, before the condo was listed. It started when my elderly mom moved out of her condo in Calgary. The condo had been vacant for a while, and it was time to list it for sale. However, it wasn't a straightforward job - there were a million questions. Which storage unit in the underground parking lot, was my mom's? Where was the key? How old was her dishwasher? Where was the proof of ownership? What was the status of the ongoing building renovations? My mom, in long-term care, wasn't able to answer the questions, and it was up to me to find out the answers. During the many months it took me to gather up the necessary information and clear my mom's possessions out of the condo, Jamie stayed in touch and helped me to prioritize the work that was needed. He met with me in person (pre-COVID) and on the phone, to give his advice about what I should do (and not do) to get the condo ready for viewing. During this time, I was always impressed with Jamie's patience and unflappability, as I kept running into challenges and delays. Once the last boxes were finally out, I engaged cleaners to clean the condo - but at the last minute, they weren't able to do the work. I felt like I was always calling Jamie to let him know about more glitches in the process. He stayed supportive and understanding. He struck the perfect balance of knowing when I needed more time, while also checking in with timely reminders of when we needed to get moving. What I needed was a road map for how to get a condo ready for sale - and Jamie provided just that. Jamie had been recommended to me by my aunt. He had sold a house belonging to some close friends of hers. The first time I met him, I explained that my goal was not to get the best possible price for the condo, but to relieve my family of the burden of maintaining an unlived-in condo. I could tell that he understood my priorities and he was realistic about how we would approach the listing. He often said that he was advising me in the same way he would advise his own relatives, if they were in my position. Ultimately, that's what made him so great to work with - the fact that he was someone I could trust and relate to. I knew that the judgments he was making, would be in my best interest. I know that 2020 has been a challenging year in so many respects - but I have no doubt that Jamie has been spending it supporting his clients with his usual tenacity and good humour! I hope that this recommendation will send new clients in his direction!
