It’s always a pleasure working with Jerry and Elya. By now we’ve bought a couple of apartments and a farm with them, sold an apartment, a house and a chalet at Big White. How much diverse can it get? Jerry and Elya always show their knowledge and competency in all fields of real estate. Big part of working with Jerry and Elya is their personalities: they are very approachable, easy to reach any time of day, any day of the week, and if, for some reason, they didn’t answer the call, there is always Hedy, their super officiant assistant, to let you know that they are on it. First of, understand that we've working with realtors for a long time. We are real estate investors who just decided to change pace and try our hands on farming. My wife and I purchased our first vineyard, and I can honestly say that without a team like Jerry and Elya, we would still be looking or worse, get into some serious trouble. Buying a farm is very different than buying home. Many things need to be considered, and to have had Jerry and Elya to guide us through the process was a huge assets. But their expertise doesn't stop with the purchasing. It extends to how to help yourself to get the financing, what is Farm Credit looking for, how to word your application. Elya is the one who gets all the obscure details that most realtors would miss. She is as thorough as one can be. Jerry knows farm! And knows everyone that a new buyer should know. Together, they're a great pair. The only thing I would say they could improve upon is being tougher negotiators. Not sure how much more was left on table, but we are still happy. Communication is definitely another great assets they possess. Before, during and after the purchase, they always make sure everything is working and will ALWAYS assist you when you're stuck. This is key here if you purchase something like a farm for the first time. We cannot stress that enough. The advantages of having Geen & Byrne working for us far outweigh anything else. When we purchase a second farm, we know who will be working for us.

This team went above and beyond! We were away on a family holiday and they were in constant contact as negotiation was in progress. The added touch of ariel photos of the property helped with the speed of the sale combined with their knowledge of the Okanagan Valley pricing trends and potential buyers. Each agent was very communicative and friendly - I would recommend this team to anyone I know.
