My husband, two children and I relocated from Ontario to Alberta when my husband transfered with his company. We had no idea where to start, and a family friend highly recommended Corey to us. He far surpassed the amazing things mentioned about him. We cannot say enough nice things about our experience working with Corey. His energy, knowledge and professionalism were always looked forward to in every conversation! His passion for his industry shines and he gave 110% to make sure we found exactly what we were looking for and were confident with our decision. He knew all the right questions to ask during the buying process, and took lead when we needed direction. Because we lived out of province, Corey went above and beyond, video calling walk-throughs, and touch base meetings over the phone, email and text. We we found our home, which was a 'new build'. The protocols of the builders process required us, as the home buyers, to be on site for visual approvals/inspections on the home. Because we were out of province and unable to attend, without hesitation, Corey took the time to attend on our behalf, while on video call, to complete the visual inspections so we remained within our contractual agreement with our builder. He really saved us and we couldn't have done it without him! Corey genuinely wanted to help our family, not only find our forever home, but transition us to a new life and keep the excitment alive, and we cannot thank him enough!!

Corey was an absolute delight to work with. We purchased out of province and everything from phone calls, video chats, group chats and extra touches like personal videos was amazing. Corey accommodated my limited time when flying out to see as many house as possible in 2 days. One thing I really liked about his process was his mindset on eliminating houses not to our own standards and keeping my wife and I on mutual grounds. He even picked me up at the airport and ensured he explained each neighborhood we drove past to give me a chance to understand each area. When we ended up purchasing a house that required a prelim visit before closing he stepped in and offered to save me a flight back to Edmonton! Outstanding I wouldn’t second guess using or referring Corey again, he was punctual, accommodating, knowledgeable, and kept the whole process upbeat and fun, and trust me moving provincially in the middle of winter isn’t always fun! I cannot express how grateful I am for Corey’s help!

Corey is a friendly and honest realtor. I was a first-time home buyer and he helped me through all the steps of buying a home from finding a property to getting a lawyer. And he saved me a lot of money and trouble along the way. I could tell he really looks out for his clients since he reminded us that we shouldn't take sellers at their word. And that we should get it in writing. This was when we were touring places and talking about what the seller should guarantee and what the strata should approve before I buy the place. He also recommended me lawyers, home inspectors, and document reviewers. All of which I'm highly satisfied with. The document reviewers he recommended found something that would have given me a lot of trouble about the first place we were looking into, and Corey had no problem with us moving on from that property. This was especially honorable of him since I approached him on realtor.ca knowing he was representing the sellers from that listing (I was thinking there wouldn't be a conflict of interest if I found no problems with the building and offered the asking price from the listing). I wouldn't have been able to know this building wasn't suitable for me if not for Corey, since I didn't even know I needed to hire a document reviewer in the first place. He also helped me negotiate the price down on the property I ended up buying once I was satisfied with the documents and inspections. And I ended up saving even more money that way. Overall, Corey helped me through a lot during the buying process and saved me from a ton of trouble!

Corey is absolutely wonderful to work with. He was more than helpful in selling Mom's house when she needed to go into a nursing home. Corey took the stress out of selling a house at a difficult time. Even not living in the area was no problem for Corey. He keep us informed at all time through phone calls, text, and even signing papers online. Corey was always easy to reach and answer any questions. He really cares about his clients as well as the community and neighborhood he lives in. He's a tough negotiator with a personal touch and a sense of humour. Corey went over and above to get Mom's house sold in a timely fashion. You can't go wrong with Corey as a realtor

We have recently had the pleasure of working with Corey Mcewen in our search for a perfect house. We had searched many homes together, and weighed out the pros and cons of each house. Even if he had only 1 house that was available to look at, he would set up the meeting and meet us. When we did finally find the perfect house. He helped us each step of the way. Including setting up the house inspection and also some speciality inspection for the property. Also went above and beyond after we took over the house, we notice some stuff we did not see the first couple of visits to the property. He personally reached out to former owners of the home and got the answer. Then let us know what they said and also gave us his personal advice on what he has seen with his experience of the problem and how to fix it. We are coming up to a year of owning our new home. He still checks in with us periodically to see how we are and everything. From the very first day we met him, he treated us like a family member and not just another sale. We had a great experience working with Corey to sell our house. Selling a house is typically a very stressful process, but Corey was able to guide us through the process. Mark (photographer/videographer) and Corey shot a very nice/professional video which showcased the various selling points of our house and resulted in a quick sale at a competitive price. While Corey is very experienced and knowledgeable regarding the real estate market, he was always open to our input and took the time to explain his thought process to us.
