Because of the family dynamic involved, I felt it was important to have someone at arm’s length represent us, so I asked Ashley, a local agent, colleague, and friend, to step in. As a realtor myself with 22 years in the business, it is surprisingly difficult to switch roles and become the client. The moment you take off your agent hat and put on your seller hat, it becomes a completely different experience and you are relying entirely on the person representing you. From start to finish, I felt incredibly well protected by Ashley. There was never a moment where I questioned her guidance or decisions. She handled everything with professionalism, care, and a calm confidence that made the entire process feel supported and seamless.
