Adam was wonderful to deal with. He communicated very well with us every step of the way with both selling and buying.

Seemed nice at first and communicated well until we signed contracts. Then there was hardly any communication when I had questions or just in general to update me with what's going on. He took the pictures for the ad with his cell phone and took a lot of pointless pictures, like pictures of my tea canister. None of the colors were correct after he had played with the lighting so it gave a misrepresented look of my place, which I mentioned and he did not fix. He only listed my place to MLS and his personal Facebook page and used cowichan. I had to share to all the other Facebook groups that are commonly used by everyone around trying to sell houses. I also had to post to used Victoria. There is very little effort on advertising except for the one paper ad that he took out which was priced wrong by the time it came out because he had overpriced the house at first and after a week we had to lower the price. This was my first time selling a house so I expected him to have knowledge of what the house should be listed at, etc. Also, he had professional measurements taken of my house and posted the wrong square footage in every ad he put out. After a couple weeks I got fed up with all of this and wanted out of the contract. He then proceeded to tell me it was going to be $450 to cancel the contract and I was to pay it to his personal email in an e transfer. He was super rude and telling me that it was $450 to cancel for all of his work. He came to my house once when I met him and he did a free ad on Facebook and a free ad on used cowichan. I know MLS doesn't cost $450. He said he wanted that for his time. So I guess holding the contract when I wasn't a happy client and blackmailing $450 to release my listing isn't going to be in his best interest as I have shared my experience with everyone.

I interviewed Adam on May 3rd listed with him on the 4th Matt did measurements on Wednesday, Adam did Pictures on the 4th , we went live on the 6th showed our home on the 10th , sold for over asking on the 12th . Adam made the whole process easy and painless, even walked us through all the on online signing. Again he had the professionalism and patience to help us through the whole procedure. It was a great job by a great guy I’m extremely happy we dealt with Adam and would definitely recommend him as a top realtor !
