Well, my husband and I started looking for a realtor right on this very website and we found Laura! It wasn't even the fact that she had a near perfect score from a plethora of reviews, what hit us was what was IN the reviews. (plus the fact she didn't have a cheesy realtor photo!) Trustworthy, honest, genuine and committed. Laura has all of these attributes in spades. Plus, an amazing sense of humour! Laura helped us navigate the market in Victoria as first-time buyers and get the most amazing home that fit us perfectly! It took us six months to find our house in our ideal area and she was as committed and incredible in month six as she was in month one. We genuinely believe we would not have been able to do this without Laura. From understanding financing and working with other realtors to the closing and possession on our property, Laura was a sound voice of reason and support. Originally this was due to her high ratings, but it was also due to her work on the council, her presence on the phone, her obvious knowledge of the market and the fact that she didnt bat an eye when I asked her to drive me around to see listings when I flew into Victoria on a day trip! In the end, she helped us find our Victoria home and was great leading us through the process of putting in an offer. There was even one point we did the paperwork in her office with our 18 month old running around with a full diaper and crying inconsolably. Laura professionally handled it all without us ever feeling it was an inconvenience having the little one through out the process. I also really appreciated how she was always on hand to answer my questions and the speed of her replies. She was able to make clear the steps and stages of buying a home and was ALWAYS available when I had any concerns. You would do well working with her when searching for a new home.
