Context: buyer, downsizing from 20 acre place in Alberta foothills to a newer house in Campbell River BC complicated by distance and little knowledge of hot Vancouver Island residential market. If you're me what do you want in a realtor? Oh well.... Somebody who knows your target market inside out, who understands there's not a minute to waste and forms a tight partnership with you through the whole process, is professional yet funny & personable & gives you tons of free coffee. It all sounds easy, like a recruitment ad. It's not. The really good ones deliver on all fronts in unexpected ways. Teri is one of them. Communication. In a fast moving market you want your realtor on top of things, not just serving up warmed over day-old listings with a store-bought pickle. I would routinely wake up to a 5AM email/SMS with some suggestion or other from Teri. And questions, always questions. Realtors are busy people, you don't expect them to pick up on every call but how many get back within the hour never fail? Teri does; with answers to boot. You are NEVER on hold with this woman. The product. Teri seems to love the retail game and is good at it. She loves houses. She has a keen eye for brilliant and/or clunky design--perfection & flaws & is not shy with her opinions. But she respects us as clients, values our observations (or seems to), lays out options when we are stuck on some point or other. She works as a professional adviser (in the best non-credentialed sense) keeping us focussed with feet on the ground. I fell in love with a truly bewitching place we called the 'Magic House' that featured one major flaw that would have made it a foolish investment (for me). Teri has a lot of patience & not a little diplomacy in her genes. I eventually got over it and then we landed by fluke (?) on the excellent property we ultimately bought. All through MY decisions but informed & solidified by Teri's analysis. Together we got to the right place. Buying a property can be a surprisingly complex business. I have a new appreciation for the value a smart committed adviser who loves the work can bring to what I thought was a pretty routine transaction. Couple of numbers, some paperwork, DONE! No, not so much. There is 'everything else' and that's what Teri is so good at. Five stars from this client, no question.

Terri was so excellent, very knowledgable and helpful! She was so nice!, kind! and very thoughtful! She even helped us find an excellent moving company! Our daughter knew how happy we were with Terri so they had Terri as their realtor when they just bought a house here in Campbell River in May! If we ever move again will be be calling for Terri to be our realtor!

As a first time buyer I found and felt that Teri-Jean was a person as is she wasnt pushing to expand my price range spoke to me in language i could understand haha and very personable. She understood my urgency to purchase but also what i was needing/wanting. Would i use her again....yes already have refered my freind to her whis selling their condo. Overall very happy with Teri’s service and would and have recommended her for others.

Thanks to Teri’s tireless perseverance and “the extra miles” she went down on my behalf, purchasing my new home finally became a reality in an otherwise insanely difficult market.
