As a military family we have moved multiple times across Canada the last thirty years. Sue Fox is the best agent we have ever had, and that’s saying something because we’ve had some good ones. She is very experienced, exudes professionalism, but is very honest and direct. It’s a winning combo that served us well through various hurdles in buying and selling our home, including during the showings, inspections, negotiations and finding the right house. She never pressured us on anything, and she was a steadying force during the stresses one goes through in selling and negotiating. <p>This is my experience with Mrs.Fox regarding the MLS listing "262 MCEACHERN CRESCENT, Ottawa, #1175870":</p> <p>Mrs.Fox is the listing agent for this property. She had an open house from 2 to 4 PM on Sunday November 25,2019. As a potential buyer, I went to the house during the open house event and met Mrs.Fox. I told her that I'd be interested in making an offer and asked if she could help me with drafting the offer and to represent me as a "customer". She accepted that and told me that she will contact me after the open house hours to know about my offer details.</p> <p>At 3:54 PM, I received a call from a person called "Phil". He told me that he is from "Sue Fox" 's office and that he will help me with my offer. I informed "Phil" that I don't appreciate what Mrs.Fox did and how she referred me to him to represent me. I informed him that I know many real-estate agents that I could have used to represent me as a buyer if I wished. Phil was very professional and understanding and he forwarded my concern to Mrs.Fox.</p> <p>At 4:37 PM, I received a call from Mrs.Fox. Mrs. Fox informed me that she didn't feel comfortable representing me as a customer because she had another customer who was interested in buying the house and that she felt it was "unethical" to represent 2 buyers at the same time. When I told her that she is the "listing agent" actually and should work for the seller's interest and that her role with the potential buyers would be serving them as "customers", not "clients" and that it is totally legal to represent more than one potential buyer as "customers" while being the listing agent, she answered " I have been in the realestate business for more than 23 years now and I can give you my broker's license number to report me to the board"!</p> <p>Mrs. Fox was nervous about what I said. Despite I tried to clarify the situation to her and tell her that I don't find what she said to be a good "excuse" for what she did and although I advised her that I will post my feedback on her services so that her potential clients can see it, she didn't seem to care and told me that she doesn't see any point of her conversation with me and that she will not represent me as a "customer". She insisted that I must use one of the realestate agents I know, or Phil, in order to present my offer on her listing.</p> <p>I don't respect Mrs.Fox's attitude. She didn't keep her word to me and tried to force me to do something that I don't want. Mrs.Fox didn't act in a good will with me and I don't believe that she acted in a good will towards the client she represents as a "seller".</p>

Working with Sue was a great experience. Her knowledge of the Orleans market was outstanding. We never thought we could sell for what we did, and we ended up buying a fantastic house. She never pushed us during the buying phase, and she negotiated a great closing date for us. She may not have enjoyed it, but we did see "plenty" of homes! She absolutely wouldn't let us make an offer on a house she knew we really didn't like. She gave us some great tips for resale value. We would highly recommend her to anyone.
