May moved to B.C. at the age of three. She worked as a certified Front-Line Youth Worker in the early 90s before becoming a mother. She moved to Victoria with her 1-year-old daughter in 1997. May continued her studies in Social Welfare and Psychology with the goal of attaining a degree in Social Work; however, her plans went in a different direction. Her decision to change her studies was influenced by her close friendships with a few real estate agents. She took on the position of Executive Office Assistant for an Agent in 2002. She became fully immersed in the business. She was licensed in 2004 and moved over to Pemberton Holmes. Since then, she has helped many clients buy and sale homes in Greater Victoria and around Vancouver Island. Her priorities are simple. They're yours! When buying or selling a home, you deserve a REALTOR® who will take the time to listen, find out what's important to you and put your interests first. She credits her success to hard work, extensive networking and having integrity.
"I make deals happen, always trying to be a part of the solution; facing challenges head on, and focusing on the positive", says May. And her success is not accidental. It is a result of her dedication to delivering truly remarkable service. May moved over to RE/MAX Camosun in 2015 and during that time achieved the RE/MAX of Western Canada Executive Club award in 2016, 2017 and 2018. It is the client relationships that are created that drive her to constantly improve her services and create value that she can give back to you. May has returned to Pemberton Holmes where she continues to provide exceptional service meeting all her clients needs. "I am happy to be a part of a Brokerage that is committed to delivering a higher level of service to meet and exceed the demands of our clients. Our extensive knowledge, skills and expertise in the Vancouver Island real estate market have earned us the reputation of being leaders in the industry".
