I chose Claude as an agent because of he was the selling agent on the home I wanted to purchase. I could tell that once he knew that I would need to sell my house in order to purchase the other, he would be on board to help avoid this bidding war.
In this market, where houses are selling themselves, customer service should be the number one priority. To say that it was almost non existent with Claude would be an understatement.
In my opinion, Claude is very much about himself and his pocket book. He attempted to double dip on all ends of the sale and purchase.
He has more then once shown that if any issues arise, after commissions are paid, he simply throws his hands in the air and let's you deal with them.
As a single mother, I had hoped that Claude would offer some guidance and help with this very important decision. He didn't.
From choosing horrible move in and out times and dates, to leaving me deal with many items left behind by the previous owner, to taking the lock of one of the main doors for recutting, only to leave it without a lock for 2.5 days because he didn't want to pay a lock smith over time. The lost goes on and on.
This market will not stay like this, and at some point he will have to rely on referrals. I for one will not be forwarding his name to friends or family.
Even a simple thing as a little gift to congratulate the children and I on our new purchase, a little something for my kids to be excited about this very big change in there lives, he could not do.
Normally, I wouldn't write a review, however, dealing with big items like selling or buying homes are a big deal, so he needs to be held accountable for his service. Completely unsatisfied and very disappointed in Claude.

I’m sad to hear that you weren’t happy with my efforts in trying to help you sell your home. I’ve helped over 3,000 families obtain their real estate dreams over the past 25 years, in our local community. I’m truly sorry that I wasn’t able provide you with the same high level of satisfaction that I pride myself in achieving for my clients.

While the local real estate market is experiencing very strong movement right now, it’s important to understand, these sales are moving fast and often without subjects. Regrettably that can result in some undesirable circumstances. I was pleased that I was able to get your offer accepted with a subject to sale clause, for your protection.

Even though everything was done to address all of the circumstances that unfortunately arose, I truly understand that they can only be compounded by the stress that comes with selling and buying a home.

I am grateful that we were able to address everything during our last conversation together. As your realtor, I am here to help you and ensure that everything runs as smooth as possible. In this case, we were dealt with some challenges and I am pleased to report that although it wasn’t as smooth as we’d both like, we were able to make it through and work everything out in the end.

Again, I’m sorry that your experience with me and my team didn’t meet your expectations, but I’d like to reiterate our commitment to doing everything within our ability to ensure that all of our clients are happy with the level of service that we provide.

Although I am only in the beginning phase of deciding whether or not to see my home, Claude has been patient and understanding. He has answered all my questions and given me lots of advice and things to think about. Although he has made sure that I feel no pressure in choosing him as my realtor, I don't know why I wouldn't. He has become like a second dad and I can't imagine going through the stress of selling without him. Thank you, Claude for letting me get to know you.
