As first time home buyers we were not educated at all about the home buying process and Mike made it a point to make sure we knew exactly what was going on at every step. He gradually educated us about the process during the search so when it came down to making an offer we felt like we already knew what the next steps were going to look like. That gave us a lot of peace of mind and confidence that we were making the right decision. What set Mike apart for us the most was his desire to make sure we made the right decision for us, not necessarily the fastest or most expensive one. He became an expert at getting us to look at the downsides of each house as much as the positives when we would get over excited about a showing. This was so important because there were a lot of times that we were unsure of ourselves and Mike kept us (mostly me!) sane, calm, and optimistic about making the right choice.
