Moving is stressful. Having someone who is able to communicate clearly throughout the process and help with all of the little things that come up during a sale is priceless. We met Joanna when we called to view a home we were interested in on MLS. We hadn't even had our own house on the market or spoken with our bank about moving yet. She took us seriously and didn't treat us any different from a client ready to make an offer that day. From that viewing we decided it was time for use to move. We interviewed a few agents and she stood out from them in several ways.
1.Preparation. Her presentation of the current market, local home valuations and research on the homes we were interested in was clear and insightful.
2.Communication. She is incredibly responsive via text email or phone. No question was a silly question and she will respond back quickly with answers.
3. Professionalism. She was on time and prepared. This continued throughout our experience with her. She was prepared for every showing. Information about the neighbourhood, similar sales prices etc. Any questions we had on the listings we saw were promptly answered. During the sales negotiations she worked with us in our best interests. The contract signing and execution was straight forward and easy.
4. Personality. Her naturally calming and easy going personality made the transactions less stressful. We felt supported throughout the process and never experienced a moment of pressure viewing homes, making an offer or selling our home.
5. Above and beyond. After closing there are ten thousand little things that you forget you need to do when you sell your home. Even after the sale, she is there, ready and willing to help. Examples: We needed our RPR certified by the City and she was able to help us by bringing it in for us while we were at work. We bought a new home so we had to provide the seller with our cable vendor information and she helped us to coordinate an additional renovation in the home prior to possession. All above and beyond a regular home sale.
