As out of town, first time investment buyers, Dale Sheppard was recommended to us by our hometown realtor. We have been extremely impressed by Dale’s knowledge of the Victoria market and his focus on providing incredible client service. Our priority was to secure housing for our son, who attends UVic, that would also service as good investment property. Not living in Victoria likely made us needier than his average client but Dale always made time for us both remotely and in person when we were able to get to Victoria. He walked us though the Victoria market, locations, and property considerations, while we walked him through our wish list and spreadsheets. After a couple of months of clarifying our criteria, when a property came up that matched what we were looking for we were confident enough to make an offer almost immediately (from our home town without viewing the property) because of the trust we had in him and the knowledge we had gained though our conversations with him. Dale really went above and beyond for us, even meeting the home inspector on our behalf when we couldn’t make the trip. His experience being a landlord also served us well as that was a learning curve for us once we purchased the property.
