I had the pleasure of having Camellia as my agent for the purchase of my first house. Being a first-time buyer, I had no idea about what will I face and what to look for and really needed to have someone by my side whom I can trust.

Early on, she went through all the costs that I should expect (e.g. taxes, closing costs, lawyer costs, etc.) and introduced me to her financing experts connections to get a realistic understanding of my budget. This helped us a lot down the road to neither waste our time with properties that were out of my budget, nor facing last-minute surprises at the time of closing.

During house visits, she taught me what kind of potential issues to look for in a house as well as in a neighborhood. She also interpreted the lengthy home inspection reports patiently. The day before viewing, she always went through all the properties in my neighborhood of interest and gave me a comparative summary in the beginning and during the visits. I found her very knowledgeable in terms of property evaluation and explaining why two seemingly identical properties have different prices.

I must also mention that she was very flexible in terms of hours and did a great job working with my rather busy schedule. She managed to get permission from seller's agent to have visits past 9 PM to accomodate my schedule.

For the offer days, she always came prepared, never pushed me to make an offer and only provided her expert advice and made me feel in full control of the decision. For the property that I purchased in the end, she did a great job negotiating the price and estimating the competing offer.

Overal, I found the whole experience from the first visit to the closing day, and after that surprisingly well. I expected this to be overwhelmingly stressful as a first-time-buyer, but everything wentvery smoothly and we didn't have any hiccups on the way.

Last but not least, I must mention that she has a strong network of people who took care of my financing applications and legal matters. She also has connections with great contractors who were helpful in providing a quote on the cost of making possible small/big modifications to the properties I was interested in.
