After a 10-year career working as a social worker with the Region of Peel, I took the leap into real estate full-time. That was back in 2003 and the process of buying and selling a home has changed dramatically since then. Technology and social media have made searching for a home easier online, but in many ways has depersonalized the process. Real estate is far more than bricks, mortar and detailed contracts. Home is where we dream, laugh, cry, and raise our children. Home is our safe haven, the place we got our first pet, where we binge watch Netflix, make amazing meals and a lifetime of memories. Our homes and everything they encompass are the “soul” of every real estate transaction.
