During a very challenging time in real estate (so little available!) Monica was patient and attentive in helping us finally find a home after many months of trying. She was always available and very flexible in being able to make things work for us. She was very knowledgeable but not at all aggressive in trying to tell us what to do, she just responded well to any questions we asked. We really appreciate that. We could not recommend her more highly.

I cannot tell you how awesome Monika is to work with! I'll try though. We are not easy to work with - I admit it. We showed up with a list a boxes to check and couldn't decide what area we wanted to live in for the longest time. Monika took our vagaries in stride, however, with patience and aplomb. She spent so much time educating us on the nature of the Nanaimo market - that advice paid off for us in the long run! Seriously, when she makes a suggestion, LISTEN! It didn't matter what I "thought" I knew about the market, Monika is so tapped in that every prediction she made (like what the property would eventually sell for, what is and isn't a good location for us, etc.) was spot on. At the end of the day, her connectedness brought about an incredible opportunity and tomorrow we are moving into the place of our dreams! I always say that anybody can handle the mundane aspects of a job, it's how you handle the emergencies and deviations from the norm that shows your expertise. Sure enough, things went sideways - as they are wont to do in this kind of market. Through no fault of our agent, we found ourselves stuck between a rock and another rock. Monika took immediate action and put us in touch with an experienced professional, who then worked absolute miracles that made our dream come true. Look, if you're shopping for an agent on the central island, do yourself a favour and give Monika a call. She really knows her stuff and will use it to your benefit!

I first met Monika when I came over by ferry to view a house for sale . I was presented with a thorough description of the community and extensive details about the property . She listened attentively to my criteria. When another property was listed the same evening, Monika immediately arranged a showing for the next morning Again Monika presented me with extensive information and offered points that addressed my criteria.. She ACTIVELY LISTENED to my needs and provided caring advice. With her guidance I put in an offer and got it! When some complications arose with regard to the sale, Monika succinctly explained the situation and expertly navigated the terms of the agreement.
