Buying our first home in Canada was a huge emotional milestone for our family, and I’m so grateful we had Ivan guiding us through it. From day one, he didn't feel like "a random agent", more like a calm, very competent friend who just happens to know the Halifax market inside out. He never pushed us, never tried to "sell" us something that didn’t feel right. Instead, he listened. To our stories, to our worries, to all the tiny details of what "home" means to us. Ivan paid attention to things we wouldn’t even think about and made sure the house wasn’t just pretty, but a genuinely good fit for our life. When it came to the offer, he walked us through every step, explained all options in normal human language and helped us find a strategy that made sense for our family. He negotiated confidently on our behalf and still managed to secure a fair price, even though at first it seemed like there was no room to negotiate. But more importantly, we never felt lost or alone in the process. And one of my favourite parts: our 3-year-old made friends with Ivan too.
