We had the pleasure of working with Aiysha during our move from Toronto to Halifax, and we can't express enough how fortunate we were to have her by our side. I interviewed several agents and Aiysha's standout qualities were evident from the start. Communication was key for us, and Aiysha excelled in this aspect. This review covers both the recent purchase of a new home and the sale of our Hammonds Plains residence. In the past few months, my wife and I were incredibly fortunate to work with Aiysha again to find an oceanfront home in a beautiful location along Nova Scotia's Eastern Shore. The move was the culmination of a two-step process to return to our home province last year and then to find the perfect home on the water. (Our review of that initial purchase experience is pasted in below) Once again, Aiysha expertly assisted and guided us as we purchased the new home near Martinique Beach and, more importantly, coached and represented us as we sold our original home - much faster than we could have expected. Anyone who has ever bought a new home before selling their current place knows it can be a nerve-wracking experience. We can honestly say that we never would have taken the plunge if we did not have so much confidence and trust in Aiysha. Finding the perfect waterfront home was a labour of love. Once again, Aiysha's skilled research, advice and depth of knowledge about our broad search areas paid off. As before, she was patient and thoughtful about the search, fully understanding what we were looking for and how important it was not to compromise. As a buyer, it really is special to have that understanding and faith in your agent. In due course, with Aiysha's expert guidance we were successful and couldn't be happier with our new home. :) Then, just days after buying the the new property, Aiysha helped us to stage and advertise the original home. Within two weeks of listing the home we were happily considering multiple offers, leading to a very successful sale in minimum time. She was incredibly engaged and proactive on every detail as she coached us on the timing, how to stage the home, and the marketing. Working with Aiysha is truly a five star experience! Par excellence! I was in the market for a new home and in a new city I had never visited. After weeks of browsing the internet and writing to several listing agents in the Halifax Metropolitan area, none responded to my enquiries. While browsing the Re/Max page I noted names of 4-agents. Aiysha was the first one I called after a long day of work. I left her detailed message and that very evening she sent me a text and we spoke at length the following day. From Day 1 Aiysha has been knowledgeable, professional, thoughtful and timely about the full cycle of the buying process. Every listing she sent me matched the ideals I was looking for in a property and she expertly helped me navigate the pros and cons associated with them. Because I was in Ontario, we were able to arrange virtual viewings that went a long way in determining whether or not I would place an offer on a property. The first offer I made on a house went through several rounds of counter offers which Aiysha expertly negotiated each step of the way. Ultimately, the offer was rejected but I knew I had the best person in my corner to facilitate any other transaction that would come about. Less than 24hrs of mourning the rejected offer, a property was listed on the internet and it had everything I was looking for! Over that weekend the property received much interest sparking multiple offers on the home. I am glad I followed Aiysha's advice because I ended up with the winning offer! I made a trip to Halifax for the house inspection days later. Not only had Aiysha arranged an expert inspector to comb through the home to ensure soundness, she also picked me up from the airport. Fast forward to 4-weeks later I managed to close on the home. I cannot run out of descriptors for Aiysha. Authentic, kind, very thoughtful, generous and collected. If you are looking to buy from out of town or province, do not hesitate to call and trust in Aiysha. Even if you are already in the Halifax area, call on Aiysha too. Aiysha was such a blessing. To navigate such a path, with such profound consequences, without her would have been, for sure, no where near as successful as it was. Aiysha is very calm and steadying and brings excellent interpersonal skills to contexts which very much need them. But she is also steadfast and robust -she will dig in for her clients. A consummate professional. Really impressive. I commend her to anyone who wants to feel at ease with an agent who will also get the job done.
